Unbeaten and runners up as The Old Offenders get better!

12 Aug

Chris 'The Cat' Beech made several memorable saves in the first five minutes as The Old Offenders came under the cosh. Whether his goggle like Minion appearance put off the strikers or whether he just played out of his skin is a matter for debate.

5 minutes in and The Old Offenders settled. They matched Barnet 'A' in  every way with Martyn 'Jasper' Benstead and Glenn 'Massive' Mitchell outstanding in defence.

At the end a 0 - 0 draw was a fair result  as, after Barnet's early dominance, The Old Offenders came back into the game and only the post prevented us nicking it with a supurb effort from 'Massive.
